Spicy Mexican Rice Recipe- How to Make Spicy Mexican Rice

Spicy Mexican Rice Ingredients:

* 1-1/2 cups of long-grain rice

* 1 diced green bell pepper

* 10 ounces diced tomatoes

* 14.5 ounces chicken broth

* 2 teaspoon vegetable oil

* 1/2 cup of chopped onion

* 4 crushed garlic cloves

* 1/2 cup tomato sauce

* 1/2 teaspoon salt

* 1/2 teaspoon cumin

* 1/2 teaspoon pepper

* 1/2 cup of water

How to make spicy mexican rice:

1-Heat oil in a deep pan over medium-high heat and add the diced bell pepper, onion and crushed garlic cloves. Sauté for about two minutes.

2-Stir in the rice and cook for 5 minutes until it is slightly browned. Then add the salt, cumin and pepper, then incorporate the water, tomatoes, tomato sauce and chicken broth and stir to blend.

3-Bring the mixture to a boil. Cover, and let simmer until rice is tender and liquids have been absorbed.

4-Stir before serving.
